i'm a single mother of three teenage boys whom i adore, and care for very much. we are in the process of trying to buy our own home because the place we have called home for ten years, has just been sold leaving us to scramble for a place to live.  i'm sure everyone knows, these days it's very hard to make decent money that doesn't have you living pay check to pay check, which is where i am right now. i work part time taking care of special needs children and elderly, and i'm going to college to get my b.a. degree in human services which is in the same field, but will help me in securing a job with more benefits. right now i don't make very much money, so buying a house on my own is very tough. if there is anyone out there who knows of places that could assist me in my journey, i would be most grateful. i am running the risk of loosing my boys, my dog, and maybe have to quit school if i don't get some type of help. these boys need me because i took on the responsibility of raising them for the past ten years, due to their parents being unable to provide for them. i don't want to have them go through that again, so once again any help and or information is appreciated, thank you.

Is there any help for me that you know of. I don't have good credit, but have been approved for a mortgage through "Priority Mortgage", but I need $4500 gift to get the loan through. I don't quite understand why since I was approved for a %100 mortgage. But this is what the lending officer told me. He said he has a loan but needs this money up front before he can proceed. My problem is that my mother passed away Feb.12th and had no life insurance. I had to come up with money for her funeral. Now since my husband and I were living with my mother and step-father so we could help with my mother durring her illness, and since my mother is no longer with us, my step-father wants us out of his house. I don't have this money and just have no one that would help me with it. I had offers for the sellers to pay the closing costs, but the loan officer said that would not work for me. He needs this money up front. I need a home . I have worked all my life and now I am down to this. No home and no where to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Vickie

INFO REQUEST Thank you for your interest in The Dreamhouse Fund. Following this brief overview of our organization is a questionnaire that will allow us to contact you with more details so you can begin the process to homeownership. Many people who take the time to complete the following information find themselves moving into a new home sooner than they expected. Program Overview The Dreamhouse Fund is a program offered by The Dreamhouse Charity, Inc. which is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization whose sole function is bringing home ownership to those who are struggling with the down payment. The first step to our process is to complete the form below and we will help you locate a lender in your area that is experienced in using our program. If you are currently working with a lender please fill in the questionnaire and we will contact your lender to explain our program. The mortgage professional will coordinate the rest for you. Once approved for a FHA loan we will issue an approval for your grant and you will be able to move into your new home with no money out of pocket. Our organization will request that the seller of the property make a charitable contribution to us equal to the amount of your gift plus a small service fee. This contribution will be put into a pool for future homeowners. Again, this is all done for you and does not make your loan process any more complicated for you. Take a look at our Buyer Brochure for more detailed information. You may also call us toll-free at (866) 724-2748. There are definitely programs out there for you and I know this because one of my past clients was a single mother. I was able to find her 3 funding programs and one to help with her college money. One of the grant programs is specifically for single mothers and they even provide help for helping to pay a single mother's student loan(s). I am also currently working with a woman who wants to start her own daycare center for special needs children and I am in the process of helping her apply for a $500,000 grant award which is being sponsored by an organization that wants to help people pursue their dreams. So I know that there are definitely funding programs out there that can help you.
